Mextopia
Mextopia gives bean, cheese, and tortilla lovers their fill with traditional Mexican food such as a savory bowl of Pozole ($6.50) and modern updates on traditional Tex-Mex entrees and appetizers. Answer an appetizer inquiry with a plate of quesadillas garnished with fajita beef ($10.95), or the nacho sampler ($12.95), with two bean, two brisket, and two shredded-chicken nachos.
Entrees include the pan-fried tacos ($9.95), with the tasteful tag team of two brisket and two chicken tacos. End your satisfying meal with south-of-the-border desserts, like the Mextopian version of bread pudding ($7.50), with the subtle dabbling of chocolate and cinnamon.
Owner Ricardo Avila, well known for a tamale, brisket gordita, and pozole cooking appearance on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, has created a relaxed, colorfully lit interior perfect for munching on mole con pollo, complete with a blown glass Aztec Calender watching over the bar. Mextopia offers free valet on the weekends in addition to 3 parking lots behind the restaurant for self parking. Live music on Friday and Saturday nights with Latin classical guitarist, Alfonso Samano and friends, Sunday nites relax with acoustic soft rock by Scott Stephens.
We hope to see you soon!
Gracias, Ricardo, Michelle and the entire Mextopia family!
